Made with Love. Served with a Side of Chaos.
I’ve wanted to make my own cookbook for as long as I can remember.
Not because I think I’m some fancy chef. And certainly not because every dinner that comes out of my kitchen is a masterpiece.
I just love to cook.
I love finding new recipes, changing things up, trying something different, and seeing what everybody thinks when dinner hits the table.
Some recipes are an immediate hit. Some need a little work. And some will never see the inside of my kitchen again.
But somewhere along the way, I started thinking about all the recipes we make, the meals we remember, and the little things that make them ours.
I don’t want those to get lost.
So I’m finally doing something I’ve talked about doing for years.
I’m putting together The Reedy Family Table, a collection of our favorite recipes, the stories behind them, and all the little modifications that turn somebody else’s recipe into one our family loves.
And I’m bringing you along while I figure it out.
You’ll get the recipes that work, the ones we’re testing, the changes I make, and the occasional dinner that goes completely sideways.
Because that’s cooking in a real house, for a real family.
And around here, there’s usually a lot more happening at the dinner table than just dinner.
Welcome to The Reedy Family Table.
Pull up a chair.
